10DLC Compliance

Mobile carriers such as AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile have implemented new 10DLC rules for high-volume texters that use 10-digit long code phone numbers to text voters. This verification is used to discourage unlawful or unethical messaging. Registration a 10DLC is your way of ensuring that your campaigns are compliant with all texting regulations. The registration process is quick and easy. Once your number is registered, you can use it to text your voters. Registration helps ensure that your messages are delivered more reliably and are less likely to be marked as spam by carriers or mobile devices. Overall, 10DLC registration is a way for organizations/campaigns to improve reliability and trustworthiness in communication with voters.

Please follow the steps below to Register:

This process applies to all political organizations. The process for non-political organizations is different.

1. Click this link www.Campaignverify.org and provide the requested information. 

             You’ll need to provide:

• Your Campaign’s or Company’s legal name
• Your company name if it’s not the same as the legal name
• The address under which your company was registered with your state. 
• The legal form of the organization,i.e., Political Campaign, charity/non-profit
• Tax number/ID/EIN (if you don’t have one, please register here) or call the toll-free Business & Specialty Tax Line (800-829-4933). It only takes a few minutes
• Email (your email should match your website) 
• Website
• Organization Description

A political organization can apply for an EIN by completing an online Form SS-4, Application for Employer Identification Number, or by calling the toll-free Business & Specialty Tax Line (800-829-4933).

1. Likely in less than 2 days, the registry will send a token. Copy/paste the token and email it to us.
2. Complete and return our 10dlc setup form
3. Update your website to provide disclaimer verbiage wherever phone numbers are collected-- see the sample below:

1. Update the campaign website with a privacy page. Use our our privacy page as an example

Currently, it takes about 7 days for registration after all tasks are complete
